#ElectronicMusic is one of our most popular music genres on TikTok, with almost 3 billion views. We're proud to be a home to a vibrant community of electronic artists and producers, who never fail to bring the beat to our global community.

To help celebrate this talented community, we are so excited to announce our new partnership with the one and only Amsterdam Dance Event! 🎵

Teaming up with ADE

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is one of the largest and most important gatherings for the global electronic music industry. More than an annual conference, this event brings together established and emerging DJs and producers from around the world to take over the entire city of Amsterdam.

With over 1,000 events and performances from 2,500 artists, ADE brings together a whole spectrum of electronic music lovers. The five day event features a wide array of dance music-related exhibitions, films, documentaries, DJ showcases, educational talks and networking for those in the industry.

As part of the partnership, TikTok will be hosting its own hub at ADE on Thursday 20th October. The hub will include panels and workshops, with presentations from TikTok's music team with tips for up-and-coming artists, thoughts on the changing landscape of electronic music, and how TikTok is supporting the electronic community on TikTok. There will also be walk-in sessions so artists and creators can ask questions on how to get the most out of TikTok, as well as industry mixers with creators, artists, labels and management teams.

We will also be hosting an exciting TikTok LIVE, with performances from Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Brennan Heart and Timmy Trumpet. Kicking off at 10pm CET on Saturday 22nd October, the LIVE will be anchored by Zawdi MC, one of the biggest MCs in electronic music whose vocals has supported the sets of DJs including Chuckie, Sunnery and Quintino.

#ElectronicMusic on TikTok

We recently announced #ElectronicMusic as our latest genre campaign to be placed centre stage on TikTok UK. Following its launch in June, #ElectronicMusic has become a central place for music fans on TikTok to discover and celebrate the content, culture, artists, creators and sounds across electronic and dance.

Electronic music is more diverse than ever on TikTok, with sounds emerging from a huge range of artists, DJs and producers on TikTok. This includes Eliza Rose & Interplanetary Criminal's 'B.OT.A (Baddest Of Them All)' and London-born DJ and singer songwriter, Shygirl, who was the face of our #ElectronicMusic campaign. Shygirl is leading a new generation of talent on the platform, and has been using TikTok to promote her new album 'Nymph', drop new music and show her life and off tour with fans.

Speaking on the partnership, Farhad Zand, TikTok Music Partnerships, said: "We're thrilled to be working with Amsterdam Dance Event - it's an iconic and hugely influential tentpole in the global electronic music industry. We can't wait to be there with our new TikTok hub and help shine a light on the talent rising up in the industry. We've loved seeing the growth of Electronic Music on TikTok over the past year, with a growing number of artists and DJs finding a home on the platform - just look at Eliza Rose and Shygirl who have experienced incredible chart success and used TikTok to share their music and connect with fans across the world."

Jorinde Boom, Head of Partnerships at Amsterdam Dance Event, said: “We are delighted to have TikTok as a partner for ADE. They’re reshaping music discovery and supercharging the development of artists. So we’re excited to provide expertise from their team about how to make the platform work for you to the artists, DJs and producers attending. Plus, it’s a seamless fit with an existing wish of both ADE Pro and Lab audiences to broaden creativity within the music world through the use of multiple platforms.”
