From TikTok to BBC Sport: Nahyan Chowdhury Crowned ‘Last Pundit Standing’

Former professional footballer turned pundit Troy Deeney (t_deeney09) and sports presenter James Allcott (@jla.fc) joined other sports industry experts to celebrate the winner of BBC Sports & BBC iPlayer’s exciting new format, Last Pundit Standing.
In the latest stage of TikTok's collaboration with BBC Creator Lab - for content creators with an interest in developing a career in TV - 12 football fanatics battled it out for the chance to be crowned the 'Last Pundit Standing', and land a BBC Creator Lab punditry job with BBC Sport.
Nahyan Chowdhury (@nahyan.chowdhury), a Liverpool-based sports fanatic and content creator took on high stakes trials, tasks and challenges throughout the show, emerging as 'the Last Pundit Standing' and will be working with BBC Sport to revolutionise their content across digital and social.
On his win, Nahyan said: "Ever since I was a kid, I have loved football, and now I have the opportunity to work for the BBC and talk about football all day long - it's a dream come true!"
Fred Bhat, UK Publisher Partnerships Lead at TikTok, says: "Everyone at TikTok would like to congratulate @Nahyan.Chowdhury, whose passion for the game shone through in every challenge. Today's football fans are engaging with more content than ever before – from the platforms they engage with to the voices they trust.
