At TikTok, it is our mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. Our incredible LGBTQIA+ community inspire over one billion people around the world every single say, so to bring our Pride series to a close we wanted to interview the iconic @traplineblings.
Also known as Alizé, @traplineblings shares his incredible voguing and dance challenges with people all over the world!
With videos sitting at over 100k views, it’s clear that our community wants to see what Alizé has to show off!
We sat down with @traplineblings to talk about all things Pride, what inspires him and the impact he hopes to have on his fans.
Pride month has just come to a close. Tell us, what does Pride mean to you?
Pride to me is a symbol of self expression and self acceptance. It’s your love letter to your younger self and all that you never thought would be possible. Pride is also everyday for us: you should live, breathe and be pride.
What first inspired you to share your voice on TikTok?
The inspiration for me sharing came from wanting a platform where I could be celebrated and could really just let loose and interact with my chosen community. Also @Masonblakee really pushed me to start TikTok and saw me doing well on there and since then I haven’t stopped.
What is your goal on TikTok?
My goal on TikTok is to make that little black kid in the back know that they can make it too and they aren’t alone. Because if I had the likes of myself to look up to when I was growing up I would’ve found happiness quicker. If that’s just one kid then I’ve done my job.
What is your favourite TikTok video you have made to date and why?
My favourite TikTok video is this. I think it captured the perfect moment of my true being.
Finally, what else is on your For You feed?
My For You feed is filled with my other creator peers, food, voguing (because that’s all I do!) and POV videos.
