What do you love most about the football community on TikTok?
I like that there’s not one set style of content that everyone does. Everyone has their own signature style of video that works for them and there’s so many different concepts you can share, whether that’s sharing your skills like me, voicing your opinions, incorporating comedy and so on!
What do you love most about TikTok?
For me it’s my favourite platform as I see it as a place for lighthearted fun. Sometimes a lot of social media platforms can be toxic but I always see TikTok as a fun and exciting space. I also love the interaction and support that creators get from those who work at TikTok, which is also something you don’t experience with many other platforms out there.
Why is TikTok right for your content?
I’ve been posting content on TikTok for over three years now because I knew from the beginning it suits my style of videos perfectly, as my content is often quite short but impactful. It’s also perfect for my audience demographic, and I love being able to branch out to a lot of different styles of videos, for example, being able to incorporate comedy alongside my skills. I also love sharing short skill tutorials, as I think TikTok is a great place to learn.
What has been your favourite EUROS effect or challenge?
I loved the #AskEngland concept - once again, TikTok giving fans the chance to directly talk to and ask the England team questions is an unbelievable opportunity that you won’t find on many other platforms. I asked who has the best skills in the team and got a great response from Kyle Walker.
What is your goal on TikTok?
I don’t tend to set follower or like goals as I don’t find myself posting on TikTok to gain popularity. Of course 1 million followers would be amazing and I’m really happy and appreciative for all the support my followers are giving me, but my main purpose on the app is to create videos that I enjoy making and that people watching enjoy too. Again, I also love the skill tutorials element as that gives me an opportunity to help and inspire others which I'm passionate about.
What else or who else is on your TikTok For You feed?
A lot of football and skill based videos, as well as comedy skit related content.
What is your favourite TikTok you have made to date and why?
That’s a really tough question, as I try to upload every day so there’s so many to choose from! But one that springs to the top of my mind is a video that I uploaded this year around the EUROs, that has lead to a whole content series. It was a concept called If the England team were a school class, and combines my skills alongside a comedy concept, which I love doing. Once again, just a lighthearted bit of fun that people seemed to really enjoy, so since then I’ve gone on to do more.
