Feeling the love this Valentine's Day on TikTok

It's that time of year again - roses and love hearts at the ready! ❤🌹

Whether it's your first Valentine's Day with that special someone, a night out with friends tonight or taking a moment to show yourself a little extra TLC, everyone can appreciate the joy that love brings. At TikTok, we've got you covered for whatever way you choose to spend this special day!

We've launched a series of live performances, curated playlists and hashtag challenges to help spread the love and get our community in the Valentine's Day spirit. Here's a roundup of in-app activations you can get involved with now on TikTok:

Hashtag challenges

• #CoversForLovers: We are encouraging the TikTok community to sing their favourite romantic ballads and put their own spin on classic love songs. Last year we saw incredible renditions from Pip Millet who sung 'Try a Little Tenderness' with a twist to Sam Fischer who created his own verse to 'Only Love Can Hurt Like This'. This year is bound to be bigger and better (and the hashtag already has close to 600 million views), so make sure to get involved!

Playlists

• We have curated a whole host of playlists with iconic love songs for all your Valentine's Day needs, which are now available on the TikTok Sounds Page. There's something for everyone, no matter your mood. From our Valentine's Day playlist which features 'Somebody to Love' by Queen, our Broken Heart Playlist where you can sing along to Rachel Chinouriri's latest single 'So My Darling' (Acoustic), to our wholesome Friends & Family playlist where you can listen to the tunes of Edison Lighthouse 'Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)'.
• We also have an Anti-Valentine's Guest Playlist for anyone who really isn't in the mood... This includes a playlist with iconic TikTok beauty creator and up-and-coming singer Abby Roberts. She features a sneak preview of her upcoming single 'Pink Champagne', which will be officially released on 24 February!

Finally, for our last-minute shoppers, we are launching our Valentine's Day Sale event. Live now until the 13 February, our community will be able to shop through livestreaming and short videos throughout the week, offering up to 30% off top products.
