What does Black History mean to you?

It means acknowledging and mourning but celebrating our history whilst rewriting our future with our present work, so the future book of Black History opens on a much more positive and triumphant page.

What did you love most about starring in the Been Doing It campaign?

Being on a billboard! My talent is being celebrated on a billboard! The look on my mum’s face was priceless when I showed her the picture of me stood in front of it.

What first inspired you to create on TikTok?

I had a full circle moment during lockdown in uni when I was stuck in my room with all these creative ideas and I needed a creative release. My friends always pushed me to put my work out there as I previously did in 2016.

What is your goal on TikTok?

I have no goal! My personal goal is to always impress myself with my talent and my ideas and let my page be my canvas to paint whatever I feel, whenever I feel the need to.

What other Black creators are on your For You feed?

Isaiah XavierCristian Dennis Sheo Bolu  And MANY others!

What do you love most about the TikTok community?

We're all so loving to each other (mostly). It genuinely feels like a family, and you don't talk to all of your family realistically, but the love and respect is always there. I know I have a shoulder to lean on and confide in.

What is your favourite TikTok you have made to date and why?

It's the indie singer TikTok video where I start in a handstand - you know the one. I remember just feeling like I was at the peak of my creativity because when people ask how I thought of that I genuinely can't explain it - it just came to me.

@victor.kunda

I’d prefer if no one asked me to explain this ♥️
