From the small screen to the silver screen, creativity knows no bounds on TikTok. The #FilmTok and entertainment communities give artists a place to showcase their talent, get discovered and boost the industry overall, leading to more viewers in cinemas and new shows on television. TikTok isn't just a hub where cinephiles gather to rave about their favourite flicks; it's a dynamic source of discovery, ultimately inspiring audiences to make a beeline for the box office.
We're proud to announce that TikTok, the world's leading entertainment and discovery platform, is an Official Partner of the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2025. This collaboration represents TikTok’s commitment to amplifying the best in entertainment while empowering our creative community to celebrate one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the world.
Building on the momentum of our successful 2024 partnership with the BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises, TikTok and BAFTA are deepening their relationship for 2025. This expanded partnership underscores TikTok’s dedication to making the platform the ultimate destination for creators, publishers and audiences during awards season, driving conversation and cultural moments that resonate globally.
As part of the collaboration, TikTok is unveiling exclusive in-app features, including a dedicated #WhatToWatch hub alongside an official BAFTA Search Hub, surfacing all the official BAFTA content as well as the best content from our film-loving TikTok community around the prestigious awards. We're also introducing a first of its kind TikTok Film Club, a new accelerator program inviting creators to produce content inspired by BAFTA nominations, offering a unique opportunity to showcase their creativity and passion for film, with creators in with a chance to win tickets to the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2025 ceremony.
Jack Remmington and Ash Holme will also be interviewers to the stars, as our Official TikTok x BAFTA red carpet hosts, capturing exclusive content for @bafta and @tiktok_uk.
