Currently making waves on TikTok thanks to his lifestyle and beauty content, it's fair to say that Salih is the beauty and brow king, sharing the best brow transformation and skincare videos for avid #BeautyTok fans to experiment with.
But if beauty content isn't your beat, he also regularly posts home hacks and magic tricks on his page that are guaranteed to get you laughing or make your life easier.
When he's not creating 'how to look good' content, he shares his own LGBTQIA+ experiences with his followers, including his coming out advice. Salih's positive, honest and open approach when talking about his own journey, makes his page a safe and empowering space for our community - it's no wonder that our community loves his content so much!
With over 247.2k followers and 3.4 million likes, Salih's is one creator who is guaranteed to give you good vibes. We sat down with him to chat about his killer brows and what Pride means to him.
Firstly what does Pride mean to you?
To me, Pride means celebrating and being proud of who we are!
You have recently shared your coming out journey on TikTok, why do you think sharing experiences is important?
In my culture, being Turkish and Muslim is frowned upon and unacceptable. I wanted to share my journey with people, to explain what could happen and expect, to explain that whilst there may be struggles, there is also hope. There's a light at the end of the tunnel and things will get better.
What first inspired you to create on TikTok?
I’ve always been a fan of creating makeup/beauty content and I remember when I first discovered the app I was amazed by it. I love all the features and I knew this app would be the next big thing. Now, TikTok is my go-to and the community is very welcoming.
What is your goal on TikTok?
My goal on TikTok is to share my experience as well as my beauty and brow knowledge.
What other LGBTQIA+ creators are on your For You feed?
I’ve been following loads of amazing LGBTQIA+ Creators and I love all their content. Most especially, Jonysios, Jake Jamie, Seth Sanker, Theplasticboy and Danny Derfraties .
What is your favourite TikTok you have made to date and why?
I would say my coming out story video, the response I got from others and how my story has made them feel at peace and they could relate to my story and know they are not alone!
And we have to ask . . . what is your top tip for killer brows?!
Honestly, everyone has killer brows, it depends on how you rock them :). My main advice is to keep your brows healthy by using a growth serum, I’ve created my own lash and brow serum to give you those healthy-looking brows so anyone can do more with their brows.
Remember every day is a good brow day.
