How has your culture influenced or shaped you?
Growing up in a Chinese and Korean household, I was instilled with values that celebrate education, hard work, dedication, and family. My culture has definitely defined and shaped the person I am today and how I relate to others. The value of family and community is a huge part of who I am and is prevalent in the API community.
How do you celebrate the diversity and strength of the API community?
I celebrate the diversity and strength of the API community by sharing my love of food from different cultures and creating content to help educate others on my background and my family. I also love amplifying the voices of other API creators and supporting them any way that I can.
What Does API heritage mean to you?
API heritage means learning your history and appreciating where you and your family came from, including all the struggles and triumphs.
