Today, TikTok is unveiling Off the Record, a new series that features the world's top musicians as they dive into the creative process behind their new albums and provide fans with an inside look into their world as artists. As the best place for music fans to discover new music and support their favorite artists, this new series on TikTok provides fans with an inside look at how albums come together, from creative ideation to choosing the perfect singles to release, and more.
The series kicks off today with Charli XCX, Meghan Trainor, and Bleachers providing an insider look into their new albums and videos, which will continue to be shared on TikTok each week throughout June. Off the Record will feature some of the industry’s biggest stars known for inspiring today’s top music trends across TikTok, including Charli XCX (@charlixcx), Meghan Trainor (@meghantrainor), Shakira (@shakira), Camila Cabello (@camilacabello), Peso Pluma (@therealpesopluma), and Bleachers (@bleachersmusic). Each artist will share their journey from inspiration to creation and elaborate on the influences behind the lyrics in their new music.

She garnered more than 1.2M views on her post teasing Von Dutch, the lead single on her upcoming album. Charli then teased the Von Dutch Remix with notable Niecy Nash TikTok creator Addison Rae, which earned more than 29.5M views and 3.4M likes.
- Meghan Trainor | @meghantrainor: Ahead of releasing her first new album in more than 7 years, Meghan Trainor dropped the song To The Moon and partnered with popular creator Niana Guerrero on a dance to the song, which has been viewed by more than 7.6M fans and received 1.3M likes. She also released the lead single Been Like This featuring T-Pain and the additional track I Wanna Thank Me, featuring actress Niecy Nash. Trainor has over 18.5M followers and has garnered more than 460.5M likes across her content. - Bleachers | @bleachersmusic: Described as “anthemic, life-affirming pop rock” by the New York Times, Bleachers are fronted by globally celebrated, eleven-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Jack Antonoff, and regularly share clips from their music to engage with their 101.4K TikTok followers. Ahead of the release of their critically acclaimed latest self-titled album in March, they released a clip from the music video for Tiny Moves featuring Margaret Qualley, which earned more than 839.6K views. A clip teasing their lead single from the album, Modern Girl, has earned more than 346K views among fans.
- Shakira | @shakira: Shakira has been releasing tracks from her latest album since early 2022, with Acróstico being used in more than 4.8M creator videos and TQG (featuring Karol G) being included in 3.5M videos. To tease her upcoming album, Cabello has released her collaborations with Playboi Carti (I LUV IT) and Lil Nas X (He Knows). Her post dancing to I LUV IT has been viewed by more than 8.6M excited fans, and her video announcing the release of He Knows has received more than 1.5M views. I LUV IT has even inspired notable TikTok creators to join in on the fun, with Alix Earle and Patrick Ta dancing to the track at Coachella and Quen Blackwell and Tarayummy sharing their choreography to the song.
- Peso Pluma | @therealpesopluma: Peso Pluma rose to fame by sharing his music on TikTok, and has since amassed more than 5.9M followers, expanding the reach of regional Mexican music. Ahead of the release of his upcoming album, Éxodo, Peso Pluma released Teka, his collaboration with DJ Snake, and teased his upcoming tour for the album on TikTok. In December, Pluma was a performer at TikTok’s first live music experience, TikTok In The Mix, where he performed his collaboration with Anitta, BELLAKEO, for the first time. Since December, the track has resulted in more than 1.5M creator videos.
