As part of our ongoing efforts to support creators, today TikTok hosted the first ever Creativity Summit in the UK bringing together hundreds of creators and publishers currently thriving on TikTok. During the Summit TikTok shared advice and workshops, offering access to TikTok and industry experts, enabling the TikTok community to elevate their content like never before.
To celebrate the impact of our creator community, today we are also thrilled to announce the first TikTok Awards in the UK & Ireland with presenting partner Sky, Europe’s leading media and entertainment company. These awards are our way of recognising the incredible creators who invest their time and creativity and make the TikTok ecosystem truly unique.

TikTok Awards UK & Ireland
The TikTok Awards UK & Ireland will recognise the nations favourite creators. From fashionistas and foodies, to educators and globe-trotters, these awards are designed to honour the diverse and eclectic range of interests and communities we see thrive on TikTok every single day.
The shortlist of nominees will be revealed in November and voting will then open to the TikTok community who will crown their winners for each category. Creators have been selected based on in app data and account engagement from 2024. Award categories will include Creator of the Year, Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Video of the year.
The final winners will all be voted for by the community via a voting hub on TikTok that will go live in November, with all winners being revealed during a star studded event in December at a central London location. Creativity Summit 2024
The Creativity Summit is an event designed to help our community to navigate monetisation tools, share best practices for content strategy, learn how to elevate their content, highlight new trends, debunk myths, and ultimately support growth on TikTok.
The event was hosted by TikTok starlet @sarel who comments: "TikTok is a home that champions creativity and growth, and I can’t wait to learn more about what exciting new updates the platform has in store."

Rewarding creativity
TikTok is a leading destination for high-quality content creators, enabling people to discover and grow their community by providing diverse creative tools and opportunities. We are always exploring new ways to support their growth, and provide solutions to help streamline their work and bring their creativity to life. This includes the expansion of monetisation tools such as the Creator Rewards Program, TikTok Shop and TikTok LIVE, as well as the expansion of Subscription. Subscription allows creators to offer their most engaged followers special access to exclusive perks, unique experiences, and a members-only community for a monthly fee.
We're also continuing to provide creators with ways to efficiently manage their content and interactions, enabling them to grow their community even further. TikTok Studio, is a comprehensive creation and management platform, creators can use new tools to create, edit, upload, manage, and analyse their TikTok account and content performance.
Ecosystem expertise
TikTok is more than just a short form video platform; it's the go-to platform for brands to authentically engage, inspire, and entertain. There are a whole range of tools to help publishers navigate the platform's functionality, user base, and understand how TikTok's best-in-class offering solves key problems and unlocks significant benefits.
This now includes access for publishers accounts to TikTok Shop as they can use their video content to recommend, curate and showcase products in app and earn a commission. As well as the TikTok Pulse Suite, which provides advertisers with more flexibility, precision, and control, we want to help marketers tap into our unique ecosystem even further. Recognising this, we've introduced TikTok Symphony, our new suite of creative solutions powered by generative AI, and TikTok Spotlight, a unique promotional solution that drives community on our platform and makes it easy for studios to harness the power of TikTok for upcoming releases and library content.

We believe that creative and joyful experiences on TikTok start with feeling safe. Our Community Guidelines, the rules and standards that apply to everything and everyone on our platform are a good first step for creators and publishers wanting to know more about what content is and isn't allowed on our platform. TikTok also works with industry experts, non-governmental organisations and industry associations around the world to build a safe platform for users.
