At TikTok, we are proud and committed to fostering a safe and inclusive space for women around the world to inspire, connect and support one another by sharing impactful stories and building inclusive communities. Whether it is #WomenInBusiness and #WomenEntreprenuers inspiring career conversations, or #WomenInSports and #WomenInGaming challenging stereotypes and breaking boundaries, women from all walks of life use TikTok to drive change and real-world impact through creative expression and the collective power of community.

To celebrate International Women's Day and the global community of #WomenOfTikTok, we're spotlighting the incredible @zeezee25, aka Zara Beth.

Zara Beth is a neurodivergent creator who is using TikTok to share what it is like to live life with disabilities. Whether it's sharing the signs and symptoms of tourettes, or opening up about her autism diagnosis, Zara Beth is truly an inspiring and joyful force on the platform.

Alongside more educational content, Zara Beth also shares fun career moments like attending the Netflix premiere of One Day and attending Virgin Media's immersive events. She's also released her second song, Ghosts, which we can't wait to listen to!

Earlier this week, we sat down with Zara Beth to talk all things International Women's Day, her journey on TikTok, and her favorite female creators on the platform.

What does International Women's Day mean to you? International Women's day is so important for us women to share our stories and really connect with the community online. Disabled women in particular, are heavily marginalised and it can often feel impossible for us to find acceptance and feel empowered, so this day is a chance for us to reach out and share our stories!

Why did you decide to start sharing content on TikTok? I started to create videos when my Tourette's first began to worsen during secondary school which caused my tics to interrupt classes and prompted so many questions from my classmates. I started slowly posting about them to try and explain to people what was happening, and I found that so many people who weren't in my school began to find my videos and were interested in learning about tics too! My videos began to gain traction and I've been posting about my experiences and different health journeys ever since.

What other women do you follow on TikTok? I follow many female creators who inspire me every day, and who have become close friends as well as helping me on my own confidence journey as a queer and disabled woman. I am always in awe of all the work my good friend Evie Meg (@thistrippyhippie) puts into advocating for PANDAS. Ellie Middleton (@elliemidds), Cheryl (@_thislineismine) and Milly Evans (@itsmillyevans) are some of my favourite autistic creators, along with so many other disabled creators who inspire me to keep doing what I do such as Seren (@ottershavepockets) and Molly Burke (@mollyburkeofficial).

What is your goal on TikTok? My biggest passion and goal with content creation is to create a safe space and community for disabled, queer, neurodivergent and marginalised people so they can have a corner of the internet where they feel accepted. I aspire to educate more people on my own conditions, as well as deconstruct common misconceptions about life as a neurodivergent and disabled person.

What is your favourite TikTok you have made to date and why? My most well-loved and successful TikTok to date will always be my 'Covid Test with Tourettes' video, which still does make me laugh! But my personal favourites actually lie with the chatty videos I've made about my recent unmasking journey following my autism diagnosis .

Finally, what else is on your For You feed?! My For You page is filled with so many confident, empowering women from all the different hobbies I enjoy! I'm very deep into #Writertok and #Booktok which bring me so much joy and inspiration for my own book project.
