Why is TikTok right for skincare content?
TikTok is perfect for skincare content because the community is huge and incredibly fast paced! People are accessing knowledge that would cost hundreds of pounds in bitesized and enjoyable ways.
What do you love most about the TikTok community?
I love how connected TikTok feels. I've learned about different topics I wouldn't have otherwise been exposed to.
It is also a place where people can achieve their dreams. TikTok can empower anyone to step into their dream career, launch their dream business or turn their music into the next global hit!
What is your favourite recent challenge or trend on TikTok?
My favourite recent trend is the "back again" trend on @dontcallmedom's page. The videos are hilarious! I also love that the sound can be used in different scenarios. Plus we get to laugh at all the misfortunes we have in common!
What is your goal on TikTok?
My goal is to be the next biggest global skincare creator! I want to make skincare educational, fun and diverse. More than anything, I want to highlight some of the skincare issues that affect the black and minority communities. We are often an afterthought when it comes to beauty so it's not always easy to find content that addresses our specific needs and interests.
What else or who else is on your TikTok For You feed?!
My feed is a complete kaleidoscope of puppies, babies, food and the LGBT community! The person all over my for you feed is my fave @drewafualo because down with the patriarchy!
What is your favourite TikTok you have made to date and why?
