In our latest TikTok Creator Spotlight we spoke to Ehiz about his TikTok journey and got under the skin of his favourite videos and ambitions on the app...

What do you love most about TikTok?

I love having the creative freedom to create and build something interesting and exciting with there being no restrictions whatsoever. TikTok, in my opinion, is an app for everyone. You can find a niche that interests you and that connects you to people with similar mindsets and interests meaning you can really start to make friends too.

It almost becomes like the family you may never have had! I also love when my followers share their stories with me. It warms my heart knowing that my videos are changing lives and making people feel good.

Why is TikTok right for your content?

TikTok is right for my content because it’s fast, it’s quick content which people can engage with. Every other week there’s a new trend that people are jumping on so it motivates me to get involved and see what’s out there. I like to be original so putting my own flavour and spin on some of the trends is always nice.

What is your ultimate goal on Tiktok?

My ultimate goal on TikTok is to hopefully get discovered though my content and break into the acting industry. Building an audience for myself shows casting directors and those who work in showbiz that I have an audience who is enjoying my content!

I’m really inspired by Rickey Thompson’s story. He started off on vine and built his way up. Through that he’s been able to work with many amazing companies and brands and even made his debut on a YouTube original show called foursome which is amazing!

Who do you follow on TikTok and why? What is on your TikTok feed?

I follow quite a bunch of people, many of them are in the US. I feel like I resonate and relate with them mainly because our content is very similar. I even realised my demographics are showing that I have more followers coming from the United States as well which is quite cool!

Before TikTok was a thing I was, and always have been, obsessed with American culture and I’ve adapted to the kind of material that they deliver and it sometimes shows in my content. I guess the US is calling my name really!

My TikTok feed mainly consists of duets. People love my blind reactions and jumps and scares!

What is your favourite TikTok you have made to date and why?

I have way too many videos which I call my favourite, but for me it has to be my recreation of Doja Cats BBMA’s performance this year. I was so inspired and just had to recreate it. I always look back at it as one of my most precious pieces of content that I’ve ever created! I’d really love to direct and feature in music videos one day!
