The TikTok LIVE shattered records for peak concurrent viewers at a staggering volume of 330,000. The event also lit up other platforms including Twitter where it became the 10th highest global trend.

Liam used the TikTok LIVE as a teaser for his upcoming Liam Payne Show, a Halloween special that will be livestreamed on 31st October, while also revealing some never-before-heard secrets about Liam and his numerous Harry Potter obsessions. The massive replica Liam built of Hagrid's Hut has certainly gotten people talking.

They also revelled in the massive #DracoTok trend that's been flying on TikTok, reviving Tom's iconic Draco Malfoy character, reimagining classic scenes and giving it new life in today's meme culture.

If you didn't manage to tune in, then don't worry, here are some of the highlights you need to know about.

Liam is a Harry Potter superfan

Liam's status as a Harry Potter fan was elevated to superfan status after he revealed that he has built a massive replica of Hagrid's Hut at the home he shares with his fiance.

He showed off his Hagrid's Hut man cave to Tom, along with his huge collection of Harry Potter memorabilia and shared that he even tried auditioning for Harry Potter at one point. Liam also said he's been made a member of Gryffindor by the Sorting Hat on the Pottermore website (though admits he's a die-hard Slytherin in his heart).

Tom and the world's obsession with #DracoTok

Tom talked about his fascination with the massive TikTok trend #DracoTok. For anyone who's missed it, Draco Malfoy has been having a revival on TikTok, with spellbound-users posting alternate scenes and conversations with Draco, and even creating fan montages in honour of him.

Over 800 milllion videos of #DracoTok have been posted on TikTok so far, generating over 2 billion views. Tom Felton (@t22felton) has even gotten involved in the trend himself, posting his own POV video. With Tom still being new to the world of TikTok, Liam gave him a quick run down of how to use TikTok LIVE filters, which proved to be a nice crash course for viewers too.

It's just the beginning of Liam and Tom's time together

Tom will be making a special appearance on the Liam Payne Show, as a guest performing during the Halloween special on 31st October. If you didn’t know, Tom writes and plays his own music - in fact, the majority of the TikTok videos he puts out usually finds him strumming an acoustic guitar or singing.
