So for TikTok's Fashion Month we sat down with Mike to talk to him about his creative inspiration, experiences and why TikTok is the perfect place for his creativity...

What do you love most about TikTok?
I love that it gives everybody a space to freely express their creativity and the fact that it is home to so many different communities, ranging from music, sport, fashion, art, food, comedy...and the list goes on.
Why is TikTok right for your content?
One of the best things I love about TikTok is that it’s a massive community where everyone is your friend. And then there are sub-communities where you can find people you have common interests with and with whom you can connect and share your work. It is a space that encourages creativity and a place where I can learn and get inspired from literally anyone and everything.
What is your favourite effect?
I really love the time warp and the stop motion feature.
What is your goal on TikTok?
I really love the fact that Tiktok is solely about videos. My goal is to learn more about videography and bring to the platform more engaging and creative fashion videos since my work is all about capturing the real and turning it into something creative, surreal ( but also make it fashionable haha)
Who do you follow on TikTok – and why? / What is on your TikTok feed?
My Tiktok feed is currently a mix of creative fashion videos and funny cats and dogs clips haha. I am currently obsessed with @theyoungemperors @imdanielsimmons and @wisdm8 videos.
What is your favourite TikTok you have made to date and why?
It is really hard to choose a favourite one but I definitely do enjoy creating those creative outfit transitions ones.
What kick started your passion for fashion and photography?
I started pursuing photography as a teenager. I got my first camera when I was 12, after discovering Tim Walker’s work and I began to experiment. Fashion and photography were my forms of self-expression and hobbies that allowed me to express my individuality and explore my creativity.
