TikTok is where gaming and culture collide, unlocking new ways to play, discover and be entertained. The gaming community on TikTok continues to evolve and grow, connecting gamers from around the world through sharing gameplay and tutorials to cosplay and memes. Watching, creating, and engaging with gaming content on TikTok is on the rise: hashtags like #Gaming (284.5 billion views), #GamingOnTikTok (16 billion views), #GamingSetup (9.85 billion views) or #GamingLife (7.1 billion views) have billions of views on TikTok.

To celebrate the amazing #GamingWorld, this year TikTok joins Gamescom, one of the biggest industry events in the world, taking place in Cologne on August 24-28. Both visitors to Gamescom, as well as the TikTok community, can look forward to a wide range of entertainment, including LIVE stage and streaming pods, from where famous creators, such as @kaatsup, @itsnickandcam, @jasmingnu, @luis_freitag_, @annitheduck will be streaming on TikTok while playing multiple titles from notable gaming publishers and developers across the world. The TikTok community will also get an exclusive look of gameplay of several titles, including Street Fighter™ 6, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, Sonic Frontiers, CYGNI and MultiVersus, among others.

The TikTok community can look forward to a total of 8 hours of LIVE content daily directly from Gamescom. Gaming fans will also be able to enjoy the new fun in-app effect 'Your Gamer Name'. Under the official hashtag #GamingWorld, the community will create and discover all the fun content from Gamescom.
