Sophie Monk to host 2025 TikTok Awards as full nominee list drops!

The TikTok Awards, Australia's most popular publicly voted awards show, returns for 2025 bigger, bolder, and better than ever before, with a new venue, new host, new streaming partner, and fourteen awards celebrating Australia's best creators.

Australian entertainment royalty Sophie Monk (@sophiemonk) will take the hosting reins on Wednesday, 26 November, for a night of performances, special guests, and TikTok trends that defined culture in 2025.

For the first time, ICC Sydney Theatre, one of the world's best live entertainment venues, will be home to the event. With an expected audience of more than 4,000 creators, this year’s TikTok Awards will be the biggest creator celebration ever held in Australia.

In another first, the Awards will stream live on Stan, Australia’s home of premium entertainment, as well as TikTok LIVE, and replays on 9Go!

I feel like the coolest person in the world that TikTok have asked me to host their awards for 2025 in Sydney - there’s going to be a lot of #Winners. I can’t wait to be surrounded by thousands of the amazing Australian creators and hopefully try and steal a couple of their followers,” said Sophie Monk.

Now in its fifth year, the TikTok Awards shine a spotlight on the creators who entertained, educated, and inspired Australians, with fourteen awards set to celebrate every corner of the diverse TikTok community. A new award celebrating Entertainment Creator of the Year Award will debut alongside flagship categories such as Video of the Year presented by Tinder.

Nominees for the coveted Creator of the Year Award presented by NESCAFÉ include:

  • Latisha Clark (@latishaclarkk) 3.6M followers, QLD - Daughter of 2023 TikTok Creator of the Year Kat Clark, Latisha has built a devoted following through her authenticity and openness. From sharing fashion and beauty routines to co-hosting a hit podcast with her mum, she's a relatable voice for young women.
  • Ilai Matangi (@havea_676) 2.5M followers, QLD - Known for his hilarious family skits, Ilai brings joy to his global audience alongside his wife and four daughters. Sharing a glimpse into his family life and Tongan culture, Ilai's built a loyal community across TikTok and was the 2024 Comedy Creator of the Year.
  • Tammy Hembrow (@tammyhembrow) 2.3M followers, QLD - Australia’s beauty queen, Tammy Hembrow, is a Gold Coast-based creator, entrepreneur, and proud mum of three. She’s known for sharing lifestyle vlogs, raw reflections on motherhood, and inspiring millions to embrace self-love through her content.
  • Jiny Maeng (@jinymaeng) 2.1M followers, NSW - Jiny's a Korean-Australian TikTok creator with content unpacking family, identity, cultural commentary, and mental health. Based in Sydney and known for her raw, expressive style, she’s built a loyal global audience as a well-known foodie.
  • Ben Stubbs (@stubbaa) 548K followers, WA - From Kalgoorlie to millions of views, Ben's redefining fatherhood and Indigenous pride online. As a proud Wangkatha man, he shares heartfelt moments of parenting and family life, with a sense of community and vulnerability.
