TikTok Celebrates SG60 through Culture, Community, and Commerce
As Singapore marks its 60th year, we're launching our comprehensive SG60 campaign - a celebration of the nation's birthday and our commitment to shaping the next chapter of TikTok in Singapore. Through a year-long series of initiatives, we aim to empower and engage Singaporeans across generations.
Over the years, TikTok has become a living archive of Singapore's unique stories, and we aim to exemplify this through our campaign's three pillars: Culture, Community, and Commerce.
From exclusive food creations with F&B partners, to curated creator spotlights and new LIVE Host Academy commitments - we're celebrating the Culture, Community, and Commerce that make Singapore our home.
"Singapore’s 60th birthday is a meaningful milestone, and we’re proud to celebrate it alongside the creators, communities, and businesses that make this city so dynamic. Every day, we’re inspired by the stories, talents, and ideas shared on TikTok - and it’s a privilege to be part of Singapore’s ever-evolving social fabric, now and for the future," said Doreen Tan, Southeast Asia Creator Content Operations Lead.
Culture: Championing local stories and flavours that define Singapore's identity
We are partnering with six local F&B establishments to launch exclusive creator-led menus that celebrate the #SG60 spirit.
Each dish blends local culture with culinary innovation, bringing Singaporeans on a flavourful journey like no other. These limited-time menus will be available at participating restaurants within the month of August 2025.
- At nostalgia-themed café Lou Shang, Josiah (@sgculturedboi) offers his Cultured Lunch Box, a modern bento with Teochew and Cantonese roots, balanced with flavours and nutrition.
- Daren (@thepantryboy) and Rise Bakehouse Heritage fuse local and classic comfort in their rich Seafood Laksa Rigatoni.
- Zong Han (@zatayayummy) and Pralet put on a creative spin with a duo of sweet and savoury doughnuts – the Laksa Donut and Teh Tarik Dinosaur Donut.
- Inspired by her family's zichar stall, Shuang Yu (@aflouryspace) partners with Shio & Sato to reinvent a local favourite – Spiced Curry Potato Shio Pan.
- The duo Khalil (@kwhid) and Jia Xin (@h0mec4fe) team up with Fluff Bakery for an extensive menu of treats like Kaya Butter Toast Gelato, Laksa Flatbread, and Iced Limau & Bunga Kantan Sorbet.
- Finally, Ian (@ianthioo) joins his grandmother, Mdm Ong, and Amacha Singapore to share a modern take on cherished childhood wellness drinks – the barley-based Damp Drainer and Bloat Begone.

Community: Spotlighting the voices and stories that unite us
There's no better way to celebrate Singapore's 60th birthday than by being part of the National Day Parade (NDP), one of the nation's most anticipated annual events. As a proud sponsor of NDP 2025, we're excited to bring the National Day festivities, not only to every corner of Singapore, but also to the digital space.
Next, we celebrate our nation's journey by showcasing the everyday Singaporeans who uplift communities, challenge norms, and redefine success on their own terms. Our SG Amplified video series, in partnership with Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth (MCCY), launched in May 2025 to offer glimpses into the lives of 60 local creators and changemakers, all of whom exemplify the Singapore spirit.
From @coachwhy_yan, who coaches her mum and seniors on preventive health; to @happinessinitiative who builds mental resilience; and @urbanist.singapore, who connects people through place-based narratives – these are the faces of today's Singapore.
As we continue spotlighting more trailblazers, our campaign is a call to action to discover, celebrate, and uplift the people shaping our future, whether by giving back, supporting local, or championing meaningful causes.
Commerce: Empowering creators and small businesses across the nation
From 6 to 10 August, TikTok Shop's 8.8 National Day campaign is a direct invitation to connect with passionate local businesses, including Purest Co, Houze, Mikayla, and more that fuel Singapore's commercial heartbeat. Shoppers can enjoy deals of up to 50% off, stackable cashback, and free shipping with no minimum spend.

We are continuing to strengthen Singapore's creator and e-commerce ecosystem through our TikTok Shop LIVE Host Academy – building the nation's first seller-host network that empowers anyone to be a livestream host, and for local brands to partner with these hosts and scale through live selling. By the end of 2025, we aim to train a total of 400 live selling hosts.
To date, over 100 livestream hosts have been nurtured, from @tigerbalmwhite and @ongly.the.best in electronics, to @aaronandstar and @ivanseasalt in lifestyle, @spotclaire and @yourdailydigitals in fashion and @kawenly_ in FMCG.
Finally, our commitment will be furthered through our collaboration with DBS and Samsung Electronics Singapore, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their digitalisation journey on TikTok Shop. Through this partnership, we will be jointly hosting a monumental 60-hour livestream from 1 to 3 August 2025. In the lead-up, DBS and TikTok will also be training and onboarding interested merchants and working with livestream hosts to bring the experience to life. The livestream will feature Samsung’s latest mobile devices - the new Galaxy Z Fold7 | Z Flip7 | Z Flip7 FE, as well as the new Galaxy Watch8 Series and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), and will be broadcasted exclusively on @live60sg and @dbsbusinessclass during the livestream period.
As we celebrate a monumental year, TikTok will become a digital canvas for Singaporeans to share their stories, memories, and milestones - celebrating who we are and what brings us together.
From the warmth of kopitiam conversations to the creativity of local creators and the entrepreneurial drive behind TikTok Shops, Singapore's 60th birthday is both a tribute to how far we've come and a reminder of what we can build together.
TikTok invites everyone to celebrate what makes us uniquely Singaporean by sharing your moments, voices, and pride. Join the movement and amplify your story with the hashtag #SG60 on TikTok.
