Creators have always been the lifeblood of TikTok. They are the originals and inventors who make TikTok what it is today, creating and remixing ideas to entertain, inspire and educate.

Our creators surprise us every day with their creativity - whether it's @pleeasecakes with his beautiful bakes, @abiclarkecomedy and @tegalexander making us laugh, @beckyhelen standing up for the deaf community, @refelicity bringing a smile to our face with her family antics, or the many grandparents and pets giving us all the feels - especially in a year like this one.

We wanted to celebrate this spirit by launching the Creator Anthem, a celebration and call to action to our community: with our creators for our creators.

Voiced by British rapper and songwriter, @aitchnq_, we've collaborated with our community on the #creatoranthem hashtag challenge to create this new campaign, showing how everything on TikTok starts with our creators.

They create to make us smile, lift us up, to have a bit of fun and to bring joy to people everywhere, and this anthem is a celebration of the many voices in our community who do that.

This year, we've been able to give something back to our creators, launching the TikTok Creator Fund, giving our best and brightest the opportunity to be rewarded for their creativity. Offering creators a unique opportunity to take their imagination and ambition to the next level.

We now have over 70 thousand creators across Europe who are part of our Creator Fund, including @chewkz in the UK keeping us entertained with his fun and creative takes on his life. Talking about the Creator Fund, he said:

"For me the Creator Fund has been a brilliant incentive to create content; there are so many amazing creators out there it has inspired me to invest more time and energy in producing something really high quality; I am still learning all of the time, so I feel motivated to challenge myself creatively too.

"It is really great as a creator to be rewarded by TikTok for the hard work that gets invested into making video content."
