@roshiehharte, 'start small and build the story'
"One of my favorite tips for creating educational videos is to start small. As a history creator, I often begin with a single object, something from a museum or an artifact I’ve found online, and then build the story around it. That could mean exploring the life of a historical figure or diving into a bigger theme like women’s history. Starting with something tangible helps the audience connect with the story, keeps them from feeling overwhelmed, and makes them feel like they’re part of the learning journey."
@lucaspelizaro 'keep it fun and bring the energy'
"My top tip is to keep it fun. If I’m enjoying myself while making a video, that energy comes through on screen, and the audience feels it too. When you bring your own excitement and playfulness to your content, viewers are more likely to have fun watching it, and that makes your videos more engaging and memorable."
@bcemercer 'try not to overthink it, go with your gut'
"When it comes to creating great content I always say, if you get an idea, especially one that may be a little weird, strike while the iron’s hot and act on it right away! The content you create when you’re not overthinking it is often what performs the best. Don’t filter yourself, jump on the idea, make the content, and post it.
@olivialilymarks 'the power of a strong hook'
"My favorite tip is to have a strong hook. You need to grab people’s attention right away - no rambling! Whether it’s a great tease or a highlight from your video, make sure you’re hooking your audience and getting viewers engaged from the very first second."
@morganmjames 'captions are crucial'
"When it comes to creating high-quality TikTok content, captions are key. They make your videos more accessible, help your message come across clearly, and keep viewers engaged. I love using TikTok’s built-in captions for vlogs and everyday content, but for podcast clips or interviews, I use CapCut to add bold, dynamic text that really pops, especially with the bounce-out feature. It’s a great way to draw attention to what you’re saying and make every word count."
