From the latest game releases to exciting LIVE gameplay and authentic community recommendations: TikTok has established itself as a versatile hub for game discovery and gaming culture. To celebrate the vivid and ever-growing gaming community, TikTok is the official partner of gamescom 2024.

The world's largest games event, gamescom, attracted over 320,000 gaming enthusiasts last year. In 2024, the event will take place from August 21 to 25 in Cologne, Germany. Together, TikTok and gamescom will create unforgettable fan experiences before and during the event. These include the co-branded "Game on LIVE" in-app campaign with creators and exclusive video content as well as large-scale out-of-home billboards at gamescom.

TikTok invites visitors to immerse themselves in the platform's fascinating gaming world at its 300 square metre booth in Hall 10.1. Two LIVE streaming rooms fully equipped by Elgato and CORSAIR and a gaming area where titles from well-known developers can be played await them. These include games from 10:10 Games, KRAFTON, SEGA and many more to be announced. A special highlight at the TikTok booth is the LIVE Stage, where various talks and panels about TikTok LIVE and gaming on TikTok will take place. Fans can look forward to engaging activities including interactive sessions, cosplay showcases, exclusive gaming giveaways and a special Pokemon GO Gym activity. TikTok has established itself as an essential platform for the gaming community as shown by popular hashtags such as #Gaming (45+ million posts), #WhatToPlay (1+ million posts), #GamingLife (1+ million posts). Gaming LIVE streams on TikTok have been viewed on average over 76 million times per day in the last 30 days. In addition, a recent survey shows that 56 percent of gamers on TikTok believe that watching gaming content can be just as entertaining as playing games themselves. 59 percent discover new games on the platform and 41 percent have already created their own gaming videos.* The opportunity to let the community participate in gaming via LIVE streams on TikTok is also becoming increasingly popular. TikTok LIVE offers a space for creativity where creators can engage with their community in real-time and co-create content.
