We sat down with Marius to find out what inspires his content and how he started off on TikTok...
What do you love most about TikTok?
I love the spontaneity of TikTok. It ranges from funny to informative, learning things on TikTok is not something I expected when I downloaded the app, from cooking to personal development there is a lot to pick up from other creators.
Why is TikTok right for your content?
My content is usually short and sometimes has the potential to go viral so I think it is a great place to share some of Ireland's most scenic places with the world. The community is very positive so under my videos a lot of support and a lot of enquiries from people who are intrigued to find out about the places I post.
What is your ultimate goal on TikTok?
My goal on TikTok is to inspire as many Irish people to get out and see some of the amazing secrets we have here in Ireland. It's great to attract people from other countries but I think it is important we all appreciate how lucky we are to have the beautiful country that we do!
Who do you follow on TikTok and why? What is on your TikTok feed?
The vast majority of the people I am following are other Irish creators, comedians, chefs, adventurers and more. I like a bit of everything on my FYP, there is no theme just anything that captivates me.
What is your favourite TikTok you have made to date and why?
My favourite TikTok that I have made is definitely my seal rescue of “Snappy”. I documented the rescue from having him in the boot of my car to passing him over to the next volunteer before he headed down to the Seal Rescue Ireland sanctuary in Wexford. I was shocked by the response of the video, it has passed 20 million views!
