Q: Why did you decide to start sharing travel content on TikTok?
A: I love that it’s less polished and more casual compared to other social media platforms. I love creating Irish travel content, and TikTok is the perfect place to share it and promote Ireland to a global audience.

Q: What are your favourite places you’ve visited in Ireland so far?
A: I’m from Mayo, so there are lots of places that I love here. It has the most wonderful coastline! Some of my favourite spots are Doo Lough Valley, Portacloy Cliff Walk, Benwee Head and Achill Head. Inishkea Island and Silver Strand Beach are also incredible. Outside of Mayo Benbulben in Sligo, the Copper Coast in Waterford, Coumshingaun in Waterford and the Sturral in Donegal are some of my absolute faves!

Q: What’s the most underrated place you’ve visited while travelling in Ireland?
A: Ooh, I’m not sure if this is underrated, but Achill Head is one of the most incredible places I’ve been to. Donegal as a county is absolutely amazing, and I actually think Sligo often gets overlooked, but it is so beautiful.

Q: Where’s next on your Irish travel bucket list?
A: There are some real gems in Kerry and Cork, as well as up North that I haven’t explored, so I’m very excited to discover more of these parts of Ireland. And actually, I really want to visit some more Irish islands. The Aran Islands and Tory Island are currently top of my list.

@evs_adventures Did you know puffins return to Ireland every spring to nest along our rugged cliffs? 🐧🇮🇪 They’re only on land from late March / early April to late July / early August, so now’s the time to catch a glimpse of them before they head back out to sea. One of the best spots to see them? The Saltee Islands in Co. Wexford. From Kilmore Quay, you can hop on a boat trip to the Great Saltee and it only takes about 20 minutes across the water. 🐦✨ #ireland #puffins #irishnature #travelireland #discoverireland #wexford @Visit Wexford ♬ Northern Attitude MC4D Remix - MC4D

Q: What advice would you give someone planning a road trip in Ireland?
A: Take your time and explore the less known spots. I think a lot of people want to tick off the big bucket list places when they visit, but there are so many lesser-known, beautiful places in Ireland. You don’t need to rush from Dublin to Cork to Galway in 3 days. Explore a few counties and take your time. If you live in Ireland, I think planning road trips in or around your home county is a great way to make the most of your time and find some hidden gems that you may not have known existed.

Q: What’s your go-to travel tip or hack for exploring Ireland on a budget?
A: I think one of the best ways to travel Ireland on a budget is to hire a campervan. You get a vehicle and accommodation all-in-one, and once you do your shopping in a supermarket, you can also cook your food in the camper. What an adventure eh?

Q: What other travel creators do you follow on TikTok?
A: I think @joshuanueva deserves a shout out as he is incredibly talented and promotes Ireland in such a beautiful way! I also love @the.lady.travels, @tinybootstravels, @theirishrose.ie and @willmurph7. They all share great Irish content.
