Q: What inspired you to start sharing your parenting journey on TikTok?
A: Lockdown and all the struggles that came with parenting through that time. I couldn’t see anyone else who was struggling on other social media platforms, TikTok was different, people were being real and honest.

Q: Parenting comes with its fair share of challenges. What support have you found within the TikTok parenting community during more challenging times?
A: I’ve found that finding the funny in parenting challenges allows us to help each other and realise we’re not alone, and we’re not bad parents.

Q: What advice would you give to new parents who are interested in sharing their parenting journey on TikTok?
A: You can be honest and vulnerable. You don’t have to feature your children! I massively respect my children and would never feature them on my account. Instead I use filters and create characters. You can also use trends if you’re just looking to share advice or a parenting moment that others may relate to.

Q: What's the most rewarding part about being a parent, and how does that influence your approach to creating content?
A: The hilarious things kids say and do, their innocent outlooks and honest opinions. It’s pure magic and children have a way of making us tear our hair out one minute to rolling around the floor laughing or being completely bowled over by their big hearts.

Q: What is your favourite TikTok you've made to date and why?
A: Kids trying to decipher what menopause means.

Q: What other parent creators are on your For You feed?
A: @maverickmother, @mommacusses and @clara_batten - all light funny videos that are honest and relatable.

Q: How do you manage parenting while also travelling around the country for your live shows?
A: Let’s just say I carry a large bucket around with me for the mum guilt. It’s hard, I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t but I just keep telling myself that everything I do is for them and their future, and it is!
