This happy Father’s Day 2020, we celebrated the main men in our lives, our dads.
Fathers come in all shapes and sizes. They may be tall or small. Funny or fabulous (or both). They may be close by, far away, or no longer with us, but to all of them, wherever they are, we say #ThanksDad.
On Sunday, 60 million of us on TikTok were celebrating the best of them.
To those who looked after us when we needed it the most. Those who are a shoulder to cry on, gave us the piece of advice that changed it all, or simply gave us a lift to the shops when we needed it.
To those who picked us up when we fell. Those who taught us how to kick a football, strut our stuff, or cook up a storm. To all those heroes who don’t wear capes – Dads all over the world, we salute you! 🦸
This Father’s Day may have felt a little different and been difficult for some. For those who couldn’t be with their Dads due to lockdown and self-isolation, or those celebrating fathers no longer with us, we’re with you.
What did you do to say thank you yesterday for a little father's day appreciation? Kick a ball, cook a lunch, or take a reflective moment to yourself? Here are some of our favourite moments…
@imogenation was celebrating that most special of moments of walking the bride down the aisle… 👰
For all those Dads with specific expectations… @meterparks
For all those times Dad has helped us get out of that sticky situation… @mannys_been_melo
And to all those who are like fathers to us… @grandadjoe1933
And our favourite celeb chef and dancer! Gordon Ramsay
And hopefully Jonathanjoly (Celeb dad of the year) had something to do yesterday!
To all, we say
…we say #ThanksDad!
