Welcome back to #SkinSchool - we're excited to introduce some new faces in class. Following the success of her TikTok LIVE with Hailey Bieber (@haileybieber), in which they discussed everything from 'Maskne' to helping Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) with his skin, Dr. Barbara Sturm, is returning to TikTok with her educational series, Skin School - this time with Nigerian singer-songwriter, Tiwa Savage.
Barbara Sturm is a world-renowned aesthetics doctor and skincare founder and CEO with a cult following, famed for her unfiltered approach to skin education, celebrity clients and unique, anti-inflammatory approach to skin health and anti-aging.
On Wednesday 7 October at 7pm BST, Dr. Sturm will be going LIVE on her TikTok channel @drbarbarasturm with Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress Tiwa Savage (@tiwasavage), who's amassed a hugely passionate and dedicated following on TikTok.
Forming part of the #LearnOnTikTok series, together they will discuss the unique skin concerns and care of darker skin tones. Barbara will describe the journey of creating her unique skincare range, Darker Skin Tones. She'll discuss how it has gone from initially being rejected by retailers to being celebrated as the first skincare line of its kind to understand and cater to the unique properties of melanin-rich skin.
Tiwa will share her own selfcare rituals and skin journey from a teen to today, while also discussing her latest album “Celia” and new track “Koroba”.
They also hope to use this TikTok LIVE to kickstart a conversation about inclusivity and diversity within the beauty industry.
All you skincare lovers are invited to submit your questions for Tiwa and Dr. Sturm ahead of the event, by signing up for #SkinSchool via Dr. Barbara Sturm’s website (www.drsturm.com). By signing up you’ll also be in with a chance to get your hands on some Dr. Barbara Sturm skincare goodies too!
