TikTok and NFL renew partnership with multiyear agreement to further enrich the football fan experience
TikTok has become a destination for NFL content and culture, with over 11 million combined posts for #NFL, #NFLPlayoffs, and #SuperBowl. All year-round, our global community of fans come to TikTok for an unfiltered look into the NFL world and the commentary around it. From behind-the-scenes footage with players and educational videos to highlights of yesterday’s and today's most memorable plays, the NFL has become so much more than the game itself, and it's all found on TikTok.
In 2019, TikTok announced a multiyear partnership with the National Football League (NFL) which included the launch of its official TikTok account, @NFL. Since then, @NFL has become one of the most followed brands on TikTok and has launched a series of regional accounts (@mundonfl, @nflacademy, @nflaunz, @nflbrasil, @nflcanada, @nfldeutschland, @nflfrance, @nflMX, @nflUKIRE) to further develop the league’s global fandom. With over 5 billion views during the 2023 season, the NFL and its 32 clubs connect with the TikTok community by showcasing the passion, authenticity, and real stories of the game. Today, we're excited to announce that we have expanded our partnership with the NFL with a new multiyear extension to enhance the fan experience for the football community. Through this extension, TikTok and the NFL will continue to bring content to the TikTok community, including additional long-form content to further immerse fans into the NFL.
