TikTok has fast become a haven for foodies, chefs and those looking to experience the latest trends and to get creative in the kitchen.
It's been amazing to watch our community share their culinary creations on TikTok and put their own twist on the latest trending recipes or hottest ingredients of the moment. Last year it was all about carbs, with #FetaPasta and #PastaChips both going viral in 2021 with over 2.2 billion views between them. This year it's all about breakfast, with recipes like #gratedeggs #OvernightWeetabix and #YoghurtToast making waves. We can't wait to see what else is set to take off in 2022!
Alongside this, TikTok has become the hotbed for culinary talent - helping to uncover and launch the next generation of foodies, like @doobydobap and @poppycooks, while also allowing top chefs such as Jamie Oliver, Yottam Ottolenghi and Ainsley Harriott a new way to engage with their fans.
