Join in the Great British Week of Sport on TikTok
Are you ready to get physical with some fantastic TikTok workouts? ⚽
We know our creative community is always looking for new ways to keep fit and entertained, so what better way to do both than join in with the inaugural Great British Week of Sport on TikTok, launching this week?
Here at TikTok we want to help celebrate the powerful impact sport can have on our mental, physical and social wellbeing. Every day our community and creators show us their amazing sporting talent and creative sporting tricks that inspire and wow us. From Lia Lewis and Jeremy Lynch's incredible football freestyle tricks to inspirational fitness creators like @you1stLondon, TikTok is the home of authentic, grassroots sporting talent.
To unite the TikTok community we are launching a series of exclusive hashtag challenges and TikTok LIVEs, so no matter your age or fitness level, you can join in our celebration of sport!
How you can get involved
Here's everything you need to know to join in the Great British Week of Sport; so don your best sporting attire and get involved in some amazing TikTok workouts...
On Monday 22nd, we launched the hashtag challenge #SportsLife to encourage creators to share their top tips for exercise, training and nutrition. With over 30 million views already, we're seeing some impressive entries, including how to deadlift with @temp_tation and the brilliant GB athlete @aimee_fuller showing her best #keepyuppies!
Today, we're launching #WorkoutwithTeamGB with @TeamGB, the official home of the British Olympic Association. Sprint, squat, lunge and lift your way through the day, all with the support of Team GB athletes. You can also expect guided audio workout playlists and a series of TikTok LIVEs led by Team GB athletes and creators including Olympic Medalist Max Whitlock and Olympian snowboarder Aimee Fuller; who will kick off with a LIVE workout with professional dancer Neil Jones at 12pm on Thursday 24th.
We're also partnering up with @womenshealthuk to launch #SquatIt this week. Whether you have weights to hand, or improvise with items from around the house, we are inviting our community to show us what they can squat in 15s.
