Every day, journeys of discovery start on TikTok. A search for a #quickrecipe could inspire a new family favourite, #neckstretches could persuade you to try your first 5k and #DIYhacks could take you from hanging your first picture to a whole room renovation.
Whatever you come to TikTok for, you are only ever one swipe away from starting something new.
To celebrate this journey, this week we're launching our new campaign: It Starts on TikTok. Appearing on some of the UK’s biggest billboards, across radio, podcasts, social and in-app, and on TV screens from early next year, the campaign brings to life the amazing places a simple search on TikTok can take you.
The creators and businesses that feature in the campaign are all homegrown talent, who have been sharing their unique experience with the TikTok community. They range from Russ aka @hardestgeezer, who is currently running the length of Africa for charity and sharing it all on TikTok, to Nicola aka @madewithmudpottery, a potter who found viral success sharing her unique range of Digni-TEA mugs, designed to support those with different accessibility needs.
It Starts on TikTok goes to show that even the biggest adventure, can start with a small step. So if you are looking for some inspiration as we approach a New Year, look no further than TikTok.
Speaking about the campaign, Harry Wilson, Head of Marketing TikTok UK, Ireland & Nordics said"TikTok is a place to be inspired and discover new things. Every day, our community prove that a dose of inspiration can go a long way. It Starts on TikTok is about celebrating the extraordinary moments that spark when communities come together. We hope this campaign inspires people to discover a new hobby, search for that recipe or even turn their passion into a career. It Starts on TikTok."
