In May, we announced the launch of the inaugural TikTok Book Awards UK and Ireland. The Awards are all about celebrating and recognising the books, the independent book shops, the authors and the creators that have made the #BookTok community such a unique place.

The shortlist, which we're revealing today, reflects the imagination, creativity and variety of the #BookTok community itself. The shortlist has been carefully curated with the help of some of the UK's biggest names in the world of literature, publishing and #BookTok, from acclaimed authors Candice Braithwaite and Elizabeth Day, to representatives from publishers Bloomsbury and Bonnier.

Now, it's over to you - our #BookTok community! It's time for you to have your say and vote for your winners of the TikTok Book Awards via our Voting Hub in app.

As part of the TikTok Book Awards we are also thrilled to be partnering with bookshop.org. As the online bookshop with a mission to financially support local, independent bookshops, we couldn't think of anyone better.

From today, you can shop the TikTok Book awards shortlist through bookshop.org on TikTok Shop or head to your favourite local independent book store, like @labiblioteka in Sheffield or @redlionbooks in Colchester who will have their very own TikTok Book Awards pop-ups in store!

So without further ado, it is time to reveal the TikTok Book Awards shortlist as decided by our judges - as we hand over the reins to the TikTok community, to decide on the winners!
