Dua Lipa has launched a new video for her single "Levitating" featuring DaBaby, following a worldwide competition with her fans on TikTok.
In a partnership that has already generated 150,000 TikTok video creations and 300 million views, fans were invited to share their most glam makeup looks 💄, skilled animation 📽, and fire dance choreography 🔥 for the chance for it to feature in the finished music video.
Sixteen lucky TikTok creators were selected from all around the world to support Dua and her team, helping shape this amazing music video, with acclaimed director Warren Fu. You can check it out here:
From TikTok dancers, Dexter Mayfield and Kendra "K.O" Oyesanya joining Dua's dancing team, to Ana Coto and Coco Franklin as Roller Girls, the "Levitating" video features a captivating mix of TikTok talent.
You may have spotted Dua teasing her video already on TikTok, inviting you to get ready to board and enter a gateway to the "Levitating Experience".
Today we're also kicking off the Dua Lipa #Levitating challenge, inviting fans to use Dua's track to show off their levitating skills with TikTok's slo-motion feature.
To support the launch, a worldwide advertising campaign begins today at major out-of-home locations including Times Square in New York and prominent sites in cities across Europe as well as digital and social media channels.
Celebrating the launch and her unique partnership with TikTok and her fans, Dua Lipa said: “I’m so excited to be collaborating with TikTok and my fans to create such an interstellar video - it’s really inspiring to see so many creative talents coming together on this project.“
"Levitating’' is the latest track to be taken from Dua’s Number 1 album ‘Future Nostalgia’, which also includes the hit singles ‘Don’t Start Now’, ‘Physical’ and ‘Break My Heart’.
