TikTok creator spotlight @kimberleycumberbatch
March is Women’s History Month , and at TikTok we’re celebrating the incredible female creators who make TikTok such a positive, vibrant and educational space - whether it’s through spotlighting creativity, fostering communities, or amplifying other women’s voices.
This week, we’re shining a light on @kimberleycumberbatch, a London-based creator and presenter whose infectious energy brings fun and joy into every video she makes - it's no wonder that she was nominated for Rising Star Creator of the Year at last year's UK and Ireland TikTok Awards! From cartoons and book reviews, to relationships, Kimberley's content is as diverse as it is engaging. We're particularly loving her content on solo travel, as well as the joys of being part of a book club.
Through her series PJ Problems, Kimberley has created a space for open conversations on inclusion, diversity, and everyday challenges. With over 90k followers and 80m likes, Kimberley’s mix of humour and advice has resonated with millions across TikTok - making her the perfect go-to for relatable wisdom.
We sat down with Kimberley to talk about her content goals, the TikTok community and what she’s been seeing on her For You Feed.
Why did you decide to start sharing content on TikTok?
Like many people, I started creating content in lockdown just for fun! I never thought in a million years that I would be where I am today.
What do you love most about the TikTok community?
I love that your community can be from far and wide, being able to laugh with people all over the world is a gift.
What other creators do you follow on TikTok?
@tianhhgodding, @funlola, and @olamide.daybyday.
What is your goal on TikTok?
To continue to make relatable funny content!
What is your favourite TikTok you have made to date and why?
My favourite TikTok to date is a list I made about TFL etiquette! I actually found it both cathartic and hilarious to make because I had been getting so irked with commuting at the time. It was funny to see all the responses.
What was your first ever TikTok video?
Me lip synching to a Gemma Collins sound from Celebrity Big Brother.
Finally, what else is on your For You feed
Lots of cooking videos, kids being funny, interior design & LADY GAGA!
