Today TikTok announces that its European advertising awards are back for a second year to celebrate the incredible campaigns in Europe and Israel that showcase authenticity, inspire creativity and bring joy to the platform, and have groundbreaking results to prove it.

On TikTok, 64% of people want brands to push creative boundaries* and the awards shine a light on the agencies and brands that best represent TikTok's mission to inspire creativity and bring the TikTok community entertaining content that drives impact.

This year, TikTok has added a brand new category to celebrate the growing small business community on TikTok and champion those businesses that drove great results through their campaigns.

Local ceremonies will be held across Europe to find the Greatest in each market, and top winners will come together for the Grand Prix in late November to crown the overall winner.

In each market there are three categories open for entry:

  • Greatest Creative celebrates the brands and agencies that dared to push the boundaries of creativity with TikTok ads that felt truly native and custom to the platform. This category is for campaigns that were built TikTok-first, rather than being re-purposed from other platforms, and showcase TikTok's golden rules for success: entertain with content that feels authentic in the For You feed, lean into creative tools and partners like TikTok Creative Exchange and TikTok Creator Marketplace, and go sound ON and engage the TikTok community through the power of sound.
  • Greatest Performance celebrates the measurable impact of paid TikTok campaigns, highlighting the brands that harness TikTok to smash their lower-funnel objectives. Winning campaigns will be those that demonstrate impressive lower-funnel results through metrics such as return on ad spend, measure and prove unique, standout performance and adopt a test and learn approach, using insights to guide their campaign, creative optimisation and improve overall results.
  • A brand new category this year, Greatest Small Business celebrates the TikTok Ads Manager experts. This includes small businesses with less than 50 employees that leveraged TikTok ads to achieve their campaign goals and drive real-world results for their brand by pushing the boundaries of creativity with TikTok ads that uniquely showcase their business and feel truly native to the platform, demonstrate impressive results and use TikTok to achieve wider business objectives.

All submissions across each category will be automatically considered for the overall top prize of Greatest TikTok. The Greatest TikTok is awarded to the best overall campaign: the campaign that pushed the boundaries of creativity with ads that felt truly native to the platform, smashed its lower-funnel objectives and proved campaign effectiveness. We’re looking for the campaign that really tapped into TikTok's community, creativity and trends to inspire joy and create a cultural moment.
