From #PrideAnthems to #gayming tips and moments that remind us that #LoveisLove, we are inspired and uplifted by the vibrant diversity and talent of the LGBTQIA+ community on TikTok as they continue to create change, set trends, and empower over 1 billion people around the world. In honor of the global Pride Month, we are celebrating and recognizing the collective visibility and power of our LGBTQIA+ community through You Belong Here, our 2024 Pride campaign.

Elevating and empowering LGBTQIA+ creators

At TikTok, we're committed to amplifying the voices of our diverse community of LGBTQIA+ creators as they reach new audiences, build careers, and create positive impact on and beyond the platform. To spotlight Pride 2024, also celebrated in October in South Africa, we invite and encourage our community to be part of our celebration by using #ForYourPride.

Fostering a safe and inclusive space for all

You Belong Here is a commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community on TikTok, and one that we honor year-round. We believe that all people deserve to express themselves authentically, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race or religious background.

In line with our continued commitment to protecting the LGBTQIA+ community on our platform, we have clear policies in place and remove content and accounts that engage in harassment, bullying, hate speech, and hateful behavior, such as deadnaming or misgendering. We also recently launched an Inclusion and Belonging Guide on our Safety Center for members of the LGBTQIA+ community that includes information on the tools and resources available to them to create a TikTok experience that allows for authenticity and creativity.

To empower people to create a safe and enjoyable TikTok experience, we have a range of safety features, such as confidential ways to report potentially violative content and accounts, comment filtering tools and privacy settings to choose who can engage with their content, and ways to customize your For You Feed with keyword filters and Refresh.

As a place where everyone belongs, we are honored to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community and provide them with a safe and inclusive space to express themselves freely and embrace their identity fully. This June and beyond, join us as we celebrate Pride and our incredible LGBTQIA+ community.
