Introducing Happiness Thabile, who brings Tembisa to life with her vibrant and engaging Kasi vlogs!

What inspired you to start creating content on TikTok, and how has your journey as a creator evolved over time?

Seeing other creators get recognized and achieve their goals inspired me to start creating as well, and the welcoming TikTok community played a big role in that. My journey has evolved much better than I expected; I now receive paid brand collaborations, which are very helpful. Although I’m not working full-time, the income I earn goes a long way. I can confidently say that TikTok has also opened doors for employment opportunities.

How do you use TikTok to support or inspire other women, and what impact have you seen from these efforts?

I use TikTok to show women that it’s possible to be themselves and to resist the social media pressures that dictate how women should be. I believe this has helped them gain more confidence in accepting themselves as they are and pursuing what truly makes them happy.

What challenges have you faced as a female creator, and how have you navigated or overcome these obstacles?

So far, I haven’t encountered any negativity from my community. I can confidently say that they have been incredibly supportive. Their positive engagement and encouragement have made my journey much smoother, and I truly appreciate their unwavering support.

How do you stay authentic and true to yourself while navigating trends and expectations within your industry or online community?

I strive to keep my content authentic and clear for my online community, taking them along on my journey step by step until we get it right together. I believe I am doing this not only for myself but for my community as well, as I strongly believe they can relate deeply to my content.

On Women’s Day, what one piece of advice would you offer to women pursuing their creative and entrepreneurial goals?

Just be patient with yourself, you are doing well enough.
