What inspired you to start creating content, and how has your journey evolved over time?

I started creating content to share my perspective and experiences, especially as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Initially, it was a form of self-expression and a way to showcase my talents, but it soon evolved into a means of connecting with others.

Does your content focus on LGBTQ+ themes, and how has your journey evolved over time?

Not exclusively, but over time, my journey has evolved from storytelling to intentional advocacy and creating safe spaces for open discussions. Initially, my focus was light-hearted content, but as I gained confidence and realised the impact, I began addressing deeper topics like coming out, mental health, and acceptance within the LGBTQ+ community.

Can you share a memorable moment or message from your audience that has impacted you personally?

One message that touched me came from a young person who said they found the courage to come out to their family after watching my videos. They told me that my presence helped them feel less alone and more confident in their identity.

How do you balance authenticity and creativity in your content, especially when addressing sensitive topics within the LGBTQ+ community?

It’s a delicate balance. I aim to be authentic while considering how different audiences might receive my content. When discussing sensitive topics, I strive to be honest yet responsible, often using storytelling to make these issues more accessible, and incorporating humor or creative visuals to keep things engaging.

What role do you believe TikTok plays in promoting LGBTQ+ visibility and representation?

TikTok has been instrumental in promoting LGBTQ+ visibility. The platform allows creators to share their stories widely and helps amplify diverse voices that may not have been heard otherwise. TikTok has been a game-changer in normalizing LGBTQ+ narratives in everyday content.

Are there any specific challenges you've faced as a content creator in the LGBTQ+ space, and how have you navigated them?

One of the biggest challenges has been dealing with negativity and hate speech. Being in the LGBTQ+ space online can unfortunately attract trolls, but I’ve learned to focus on the positive and block or report hateful comments. Surrounding myself with a supportive community helps, and I use my platform to call out prejudice when necessary.

What advice would you give to other LGBTQ+ creators who want to use their platform to make a positive impact?

Be authentic and unapologetically yourself. People connect with real stories, and your voice might be the one someone else needs to hear. Don’t be afraid to tackle important issues, but remember to take care of yourself too. Use your platform wisely, and know that even small actions can make a big difference.
