First-Ever Awards Show in the US Honors the TikTok Community’s “New Era, New Icons” Set for December 18

Today, we’re thrilled to announce the first-ever TikTok Awards in the US, a celebration of the creators, trends, and moments that make TikTok the heartbeat of culture for 170 million Americans. People will soon be invited to vote for their favorite creators in a new portal on our platform launching Nov. 18.
Taking place live from the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 18, the TikTok Awards will honor the creators who have inspired, entertained, and connected communities across the country. e.l.f. Cosmetics will take center stage as a title sponsor of the inaugural TikTok Awards, unveiling the evening’s coveted Rising Star award and hosting an experiential activation with immersive content creation moments, alongside sponsors H&R Block and Carl’s Jr.
The TikTok Awards ceremony will be presented in front of a live audience of hundreds of creators, complete with a red carpet livestream welcoming arrivals fresh from their GRWMs at 5 PM PT. The show will begin LIVE on @TikTok at 6 PM PT, and on Tubi, the official streaming partner of the TikTok Awards 2025. Tubi joins TikTok in championing the creator community as this year’s official streaming home for the event, part of their broader commitment to elevating digital creators by extending a bridge to Hollywood through the Tubi for Creators program. The ceremony will also be available on demand the next day on Tubi.
Celebrating a New Era of Creativity
The TikTok Awards serve to champion the most memorable videos, the creative innovators, the breakthrough artists, and our community's favorite storytellers. Voting opens on November 18 for nominees of fourteen categories, including Creator of the Year, Video of the Year, Muse of the Year, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and more.
The trophies presented on stage will beam a colorful glow upon the creators defining this new era of culture encompassing many areas, including fashion, beauty, sports, TV and film, and new forms of entertainment.
Premiering the TikTok Awards in the US marks the start of a new era for our community — honoring creators who’ve turned passion into purpose across every category. Speciality areas from our platform will also have their moment to shine. TikTok Shop will present the “Immediately Added to Cart” Award, celebrating a creator whose authentic storytelling turns inspiration into action and defines what “TikTok made me buy it” truly means. CapCut and TikTok LIVE will also be awarding creators with special categories. The TikTok Awards is an established global event series that has taken place across countries, including Korea, Japan, Australia, Brazil, and many more over recent years, becoming one of TikTok’s most beloved experiences. From those teaching us something new, to those driving positive change in the world, to those making us endlessly laugh, these awards celebrate the power of creativity that defines TikTok.
