TikTok Shop's Back-to-School Campaign Highlights and Community Engagement
Earlier this month, TikTok Shop kicked off Back to School by offering five days of exclusive deals and entertaining tips from creators and brands to help parents and students get ready for the upcoming school year. The campaign featured products across top brands such as Doritos, Liquid IV, Ninja Kitchen US, Shark Home, and Too Faced as well as new product launches from companies like Bic Store, Uni Brands, and Arzopa.
Over five days, the TikTok Shop Back to School campaign resulted in 482,000 published videos, driving 2.1 million users to make purchases. The campaign also featured 76,000 hosted livestreams, through which 293,000 users purchased products, contributing to a total of 6.3 million orders placed during the campaign period.
TikTok community members also engaged with top creators through LIVE, gaining access to exclusive deals on favorite products from merchants such as Pop Mart (@popmart.usshop) who had their best selling livestream to-date during TikTok Shop's back-to-school campaign.
Top selling products on TikTok Shop during the back to school campaign included Lenovo Erazer True Wireless Open Ear Earbuds, Portable 10000mAh Power Bank, CAKES Covers, Birria Bombs 2 Pack by EZ Bombs Seasoning Spice Bomb Flavor, Wavytalk Negative Ion Hair Straightening Brush, and GOPURE Neck Cream.
Expanding Our Impactful Collaboration with National PTA
TikTok Shop is helping ring in the new school year during National PTA's Back-to-School Week, September 9-13, including a $100,000 donation to help fund efforts and purchase classroom supplies for select schools in Maryland and Washington State.
The following week, as a growing employer within the Seattle region, TikTok Shop will additionally recognize and uplift local teachers and faculty through a special delivery of back-to-school kits. The kits will be filled with coveted items from top TikTok Shop sellers and most-wanted brands, helping ensure educators feel ready to take on the new school year in the classroom and beyond.
