We recently removed accounts belonging to several Malaysian publishers due to violations of our youth safety policies. Their content shared images of an alleged sexual assault of a minor at Batang Kali, and that case is currently being investigated under Section 14 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.

To care for victims of child sexual exploitation, we do not allow recordings, clips, or images of their abuse. In collaboration with the Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia (CMCF), we are continuing to engage with Malaysian publisher partners and creators to educate them about TikTok's rules and best practices, and discuss ways that we can work together to ensure a safer environment for everyone.
