Public Service Announcement: Beware of Phishing Emails, Calls, Texts, and Links
There have been reports of scammers attempting to impersonate TikTok and TikTok Shop through fraudulent emails, texts, calls, and links.
Please remain vigilant. Do not click on any suspicious phishing links received from any unofficial sources, be it emails, texts, or phone calls.
Always verify that links and email addresses have TikTok or TikTok Shop's official domain name, with accurate spelling.
Be cautious of tricks by scammers, such as replacing the letter "O" with the number "0", or inserting symbols, like a dash "-", within the official domain name.
For example, "t1k-t0k".

Additionally, avoid disclosing sensitive personal information to other people, who may be pretending to be TikTok or TikTok Shop employees.
Remember that TikTok and TikTok Shop will never request users' sensitive personal information, such as passwords, TACs, and debit/credit card details through text messages, phone calls, or emails.
As an additional layer of protection, please activate the 2-step verification feature on the TikTok app, which protects your account even when passwords are compromised.

If you have fallen victim to a scam, we encourage you to file a report with the local police so that they can thoroughly investigate.

*Reporting potential scams helps prevent future attempts and protect others. If you encounter suspicious activity on TikTok, please report it to our team:
- In the TikTok app, tap 'Profile' at the bottom.
- Tap the 'Menu ☰' button at the top, then select 'Settings and Privacy'.
- Tap 'Report a Problem'.
- Select a topic. If you can't find a relevant topic for your issue, scroll down and tap 'Chat With Us' to connect with our helpdesk for assistance.
- If you are unable to access your account or log in to the app, you may also submit a report via our official website.
*TikTok Shop sellers whose accounts have been compromised due to a scam may submit a request for support to recover their account on the Seller Center.

Pengumuman Perkhidmatan Awam: Waspada Terhadap E-mel, Panggilan, Mesej, dan Pautan Palsu (Phishing)
Terdapat laporan mengenai pihak tidak bertanggungjawab yang cuba menyamar sebagai TikTok dan TikTok Shop melalui e-mel, mesej, panggilan, serta pautan palsu.
Sila sentiasa berwaspada. Jangan klik sebarang pautan mencurigakan daripada sumber tidak rasmi, sama ada melalui e-mel, mesej, atau panggilan telefon.
Pastikan pautan dan alamat e-mel menggunakan domain rasmi TikTok atau TikTok Shop dengan ejaan yang betul.
Berhati-hati dengan helah penipuan, seperti menukar huruf "O" kepada nombor "0", atau memasukkan simbol seperti sengkang "-", contohnya "t1k-t0k".

Selain itu, elakkan daripada berkongsi maklumat peribadi sensitif kepada individu yang menyamar sebagai kakitangan TikTok atau TikTok Shop.
Ingat bahawa TikTok dan TikTok Shop tidak akan sesekali meminta maklumat sensitif pengguna seperti kata laluan, TAC, atau butiran kad debit/kredit melalui mesej, panggilan telefon atau e-mel.
Sebagai langkah perlindungan tambahan, aktifkan ciri pengesahan 2-langkah (2-step verification) di aplikasi TikTok, yang akan melindungi akaun anda jika kata laluan terdedah.
Untuk maklumat lanjut mengenai pencegahan penipuan, sila layari TikTok Safety Center dan TikTok Shop #ShopSafe.
Sekiranya anda menjadi mangsa penipuan, kami menggalakkan anda membuat laporan kepada pihak polis supaya siasatan dapat dijalankan.
