To further its ongoing commitment to safety, TikTok is launching the latest iteration of its #SaferTogether campaign in partnership with the Australian women’s national soccer team, the CommBank Matildas. #SaferTogether aims to raise awareness of TikTok’s safety features among its users, and sees players offering tips and tricks in a fun and informative way.

The safety of our community is TikTok's number one priority, with the global #SaferTogether campaign now launching in Australia as a series of online educational videos empowering users to take control of their experience on TikTok for a safer digital journey. #SaferTogether not only helps educate users on their privacy, security and wellbeing, but also aims to guide users on safer practices on the platform.

In the new campaign, much loved and inspirational players from the Matildas will help to educate TikTok's community on the following safety and wellbeing tools:

  • How to report inappropriate content - Alanna Kennedy.
  • TikTok is for 13+ - Lydia Williams.
  • How to manage screen time - Caitlin Foord.
  • How to set comment filters - Mackenzie Arnold.
  • How to set privacy levels - Steph Catley.

  • Lee Hunter, TikTok General Manager Australia and New Zealand says: “TikTok is committed to providing its users with a safe experience, and we are honoured to partner with the CommBank Matildas in this latest update to our #SaferTogether campaign. The CommBank Matildas are inspirational role models to so many Australians, and partnering with such an iconic organisation to advocate for the wellbeing and safety of our users allows us to educate our community on the tools available to them in a fun and informative way.”
