We are excited to announce the inaugural launch of #TopCreator2022 - an award ceremony that recognises and awards content creators across Sub-Saharan Africa for the immense talent and creativity they brought to the platform in 2022.

For this momentous celebration, we have a list of the best content creators across Southern Africa, West Africa and East Africa who will stand a chance of being crowned TikTok #TopCreator2022. To get there, we’re calling on the TikTok community throughout the region to vote for their favourite content creator to walk away with this sought-after title.

Here’s how you can vote

  • Public voting will take place from 16 December 2022 until 23:59 on 23 December 2022. Nominees will be announced on the TikTok Africa newsroom.
  • You can submit one vote per day, and if you share the link for voting with a friend, you get two additional votes. Votes may be used to vote for whoever
