These #WomenofTikTok continue to drive impactful change in their local communities and make a real-world impact through their creativity, passion, and advocacy.

This Women's Month we're delighted to celebrate seven extraordinary women from South Africa who are making waves in their respective fields and inspire us on TikTok beyond.

  • @hlogi_mash_ [Lehlogonolo Mashigo] is multifaceted, excelling as a soccer player, dancer, and musician. As a midfielder for Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, she has contributed to multiple league titles and CAF Women's Champions League victories. Her videos not only showcase her soccer skills, but her artistic side as well.
  • @cooking_with_aurora_ [Boitumelo Masetlane] is a passionate #FoodTok creator, sharing different recipes from dinner dishes, to lunch box ideas and even restaurant reviews . She continuously keeps her community inspired.
  • @klankejuffie [Robyn Botes] is an inspiring teacher and content creator who’s known for her vibrant personality and creative flair on TikTok. Her content blends education with entertainment, offering a behind-the-scenes look at life as a teacher and teaching methods.
  • @missgentlee [Mia Bunduki] is the founder of Gentle Touch Hair Salon, a beauty salon that has grown to have branches in both Pretoria and Cape Town. She's a young entrepreneur committed to healthy hair care, working with well trained and sensitive stylists and centering her content around her faith and being a hardworking small business owner. Mia has built a loyal following among women on TikTok who are seeking protective haircare and styles without pain.
  • @steph_talks_football [Stephanie Mawdsley] has built a thriving TikTok community around women’s football in South Africa, amassing over a million views in an emerging content space. Through TikTok, she has connected girls with local teams, spotlighted grassroots talent, and become a recognized advocate for the sport. Most importantly, Stephanie has helped create a supportive network where women footballers can uplift each other on and off the field.
  • @jaxxofalltrades_sa [Jax Amahle] is a TikTok creator known for her catchy greeting 'Howzit' her confident presence and insightful content. She shares honest and well researched takes on life, culture, politics (macro and micro) and identity, often blending personal stories with sharp commentary. She refers to herself as a 'professional yapper' who often features on panels and roundables as a thoughtleader for the youth. She recently launched her podcast called 'Jaxx of all Trades' , which is definitely worth a listen.
  • @healthythandi [Thandi] is an advocate for all things plant-based. She transformed her life through the magic of nourishing foods and self-love. On her TikTok page you'll find delicious vegan, vegetarian, and sometimes pescatarian recipes, all crafted with a South African twist.
