Across industries and communities, women on TikTok are shaping culture, pushing boundaries, and showing the world what’s possible. On TikTok, communities including #WomenOfTikTok, #WomenOwnedBusiness, #WomenInSTEM, #WomenInSports, #WomenInGaming, and #WomenInFashion have garnered over a combined 5.7M posts on the platform, demonstrating the collective impact of women looking to build inclusive communities and foster connections on TikTok.
Women are also shaping how content is consumed and shared. When it comes to sports, 64% of women choose TikTok as their go-to for sports content, and female users accounted for 46% of global sports TikTok views in the first half of 2025 (1). At the same time, communities like #WomenInSTEM and #WomenInFashion are growing rapidly, with posts increasing 47% and 56% year over year in 2025, reflecting the creativity, leadership, and impact women bring to TikTok every day.
This International Women's Day, we’re excited to spotlight the incredible impact of eight remarkable women in the US who are building inclusive communities and inspiring audiences across TikTok and beyond.
